Mustangs! :D

I don't know if it's going to get back to me, and if I'll have to take this post down (seeing as I don't have these guys' e-mails to double-check if they're okay with it), but it's just too fun not to show! These boys were just too much - they formed this group called "The Mustangs" (lol) and had their little cart-wheel dance and everything! - Too cute!

This is when they were practicing...sorry if it's not the best, I kept turning around and am obviously not a very good camera person, but I thought it was just too fun to not share! (Note the various forms of "Mustang Charge"...hahahaha!

The video stops because they then did the same thing to me as they did to this poor guy in this vid (which I also filmed) . Heh! Oh well...

Fun guys though - all of them. Miss you guys! ;)

Auguri cara!

Today is Lo's B-day! - YAY! I'm going to, D.V., get to see her in a few weeks, that's going to be so fun, and we'll have to make up for the fact that I couldn't celebrate your B-day with you! ;)

Someone sent this to me, I thought you might enjoy it as a B-day laugh. - Happy Birthday, Lo! Take care, be good (you know what I mean) e ci vediamo presto! XX

It is finished...

Yup, 3 weeks came and went. Its hard to believe, but my body/brains/head is confirming that, so it definitely is true.

There are NO words to express what these last 3 weeks were - well, if there are then my vocabulary is just not fluent enough, but then I think each one has their own way to express it! - All I can say is "Thank you" to all those who put their heart, blood, sweat, tears, and months of work into it, being away from loved ones for so long, etc.. There's no way to thank you guys, but I'm sure the Lord knows and will make up for it more than any of us could. GBY!

I'll see if I can find some pics to post - they'll be of friends mainly seeing as that's probably kosher, but for now, pray that this next week is one where we can all catch up with the needed strength for the 2nd one to come. The folks here are just awesome, but being that they're also still human I'm sure they appreciate all the prayers for strength and perseverance as well.

It turns out I'm staying on for the next one too, just not actually as involved as I was with the first one (I don't think at least...) seeing as there's a ton of work. I (and others coordinating/organizing) literally slept a few hours the night before departure day and the last two days were incredibly strenuous - for EVERYONE on the organizational team. I now have a steady headache that doesn't want to go away, I'm not sure what it is, but please pray that I can get over it. TX!

I just heard too that my home is in quarantine with "the cough" - I'm not going back there at this point, so the Lord knows, and I'm praying that the Lord has His way and gives those who have it extra strength.

Also, thanks for your prayers for my grandma. It seems she's not too eager to continue on here, and doesn't have too much of a will to live, so please pray for this time that the Lord's will be done. I've been up early working out tickets, and have booked my mom's flight for tomorrow afternoon (she's arriving right away - TTL that worked out), but prayers for encouragement for all is appreciated - especially for my uncle and aunt who aren't so trusting of the "Other Side" and my aunt especially is really going through it. TX again for your prayers!

Important prayer request!

Hi everyone!

Can I ask you to join me in prayer for my grandma? She went in for urgent surgery last week due to scar tissue forming on her intestines and is currently in ICU recovering. There are some possible life-threatening complications, and she's recently had a bit of a set-back, but we would appreciate your prayers that she recovers and is able to regain her health and strength. Thanks so much!

I'm still alive!

It's been busy...but definitely worth it!
I'm sorry, I don't think I'll be updating this for the next 10 days or so, but hey, celebrate with me! - Today, 14 years ago, was the day I rejoined the Family. I haven't actually thought/realized that before. I think it calls for a celebration - I'm off to the Zocalo to treat myself. ;)

Have a good week everyone!

And tomorrow we're off...

...to the first XD in our region. - YAY! I'm sure its going to be awesome, and I'm praying I can do my part, and be a help however needed. I was not able to reach the goals I had hoped for with work, though I do think that even though I didn't reach the stars I did hit the ceiling, so I'm thankful for that, and I'm hoping too that it's a "quieter" time on the work front. - That, and who knows, I might even find free-time to work. (Please keep all the aspects of that in your prayers, if you find a chance!)

And in other news, I'm just SURE I'll be the coolest (a.k.a. dryest) chick around with these to model...oh yeah! :D

I tell you, rainy season is NOT nice. - I'm quite happy with my proactive thinking.
What do you think?

Cats are away...

...so us "mice" can play! :D

Actually, I've been working hard, as usual, so that's not really true, but with only 6 people in the house it means we can have special stuff without it costing an arm and a leg. - So I made lasagna last night! I had to make do with the Mexican equivalent of some ingredients, but it still came out great!

It sure made me miss good ol' Italia! Sigh...

Brother(s)

I found this fun pic of my big (and only) brother, Niel - on Jenny's blog. It seems he's meant to be dressed medieval. HA! (At least its an original concept!) He's hoping to come to Mex to be closer to his kids - please pray things work out according to the Lord's will!

And in other news, I got quite the earful about this other "brother" I seem to have, while at the market yesterday. :D

This is James (Jerry and Margie's son) who, for quite a few reasons actually (height, curls, hair color, eye color, etc.) could very well be my brother! I even had a contact that we've known for a long time tell me "hey, I haven't seen your brother for a while, how is he doing?" - Turns out he too just assumed James was my bro. - I think I need to take Niel to the market when he comes to set the record straight. But I guess James and I do have more resemblances than my actual brother and I have. HA!
At this point though, seems being James' sister is quite good actually - turns out he's quite popular with the ladies, and I keep getting these little twitterpated girls at the market who ask after my younger brother. HA! Who knows though...? Just kidding!!!

(And James, if you mind your pic on my blog let me know and I'll take it off. ;) )
