Valle de Bravo

We made it back home on the 23rd, after our 4 day trip to Valle de Bravo! - Kind of the wrong timing to go (people were using the last days before Christmas for shopping, and of course Christmas with family, so we found that it was only after the 26th that the tourists go there - ha!) but I'm still glad I got to go. :)

We had a lovely hotel - cute and snug! - And it was a good workout of a climb to get up to it! It had an awesome view too - overlooking the lake.

These are our two double-beds...

...the boys took turns swapping who they slept with (yeah, we couldn't make two guys sleep in the same double-bed, come on!) but only after we realized Mikey wasn't too comfortable in the pre-appointed bed. :D

What would a road-trip be like without a flat tire, right? Yup - we couldn't do without!

In the end the trip was a bit more follow-up than actual fundraising, though we did some of that too, but it's all good seeing as we know this place has potential and that with time it can bear all the more fruit.

The last day we were there we went around to some of the beautiful places such as the water falls and the highest point overlooking the lake. - Watched the sun set, etc. (Perfect spot for meditation - I loved it!)

We thought to try some "out-of-the-box" ideas (for that town, that is) like modeling or something. - Not sure we'd qualify, but you've gotta love the faces our guys make.

Seriously though, I'm no photographer, but it was neat trying to capture just some of the beauty.

The pics don't do the subject justice, but it was a memorable time, and though I got back and ended up sick (again) - this time with a nasty cough and cold, I'm STILL glad I got to go. TYJ! :)
