Oh, so fun!

I think I like parties and partying. - No doubts about that. :D

We celebrated a myriad of things last night (any excuse for fun, right?), including Valentine's Day/Family B-day/Pisces' B-days, etc. and had to dress-up. - As opposites.

I wasn't sure what to go as, I honestly didn't have time to come up with something, until one of my fellow curly-topped Aries mentioned something about how I was a super woman (totally unrelated to outfits) and then I realized that I could be Superman! - Well, for dress-up, of course.

My outfit became a Home goal, I think. - I ended up with Divina's shoes, Aimee's stretch pants and cape (a.k.a bathrobe), Anim's socks, Jasper's man thongs (ha-ha, the best part was the butt-flat - the teen girls bought it for him for his "sweet 16th") and yeah...here is the result. (*Without the man-thong - ahem!) What do you think?

(I'm flying in this pic - just in case you're wondering.)

It was a fun party though - and yes, I won the competition for the female outfit - and had an extremely close runner up with Olivia as an Arab who was rather decked out too (her opposite was a Jew, who won the prize for the male outfit).

P.S. I actually traveled to the party dressed like that. We stopped at a gas station to tank up and the man servicing us was rather distracted with my strangeness. - As were the rest of the men working there. HA! We looked through the glove compartment to find tracts and the only one available was "What's wrong with this picture?" - PERFECT! I jumped out and passed them to the workers as they chuckled. - At least I'm sure they'll read it. :D

The guessing game!

This is just for fun - I noticed I have a couple pics in which I'm making some rather interesting faces/expressions - as are the guys in them. :D The thing is, I know what I was thinking/talking about, but for some reason no one guesses that. LOL!

So here we go, I want to hear what you think I'm thinking/saying, as well as what you think the guys are thinking. - For both pics (or just one if you can't think of the second one.)

And for those who already know (and you know who you are) please don't spoil the fun. K? Thank you!

Yikes!

I have a few gray hairs! - HELP!!!! They popped up in the last few months, I don't know what to do. (And no, I won't pull them out! - Maybe stressing less would work? Hmmm...)
It must be a signs of the times...oh well, maybe it'll mean I'll look wiser. :P
Thankfully I'm taller than most and they don't really see the top of my head. Ha-Ha!

I had a great Valentine's Day...at the market!

I like Valentine's Day for what its meant to be. - An excuse to give extra love. In Mexico its not only lovers' day, its also friendship day, so seeing as I have so many friends, I have a lovely time! - Plus, I love you all. ;)

For that matter we should always be showing love to others, so really, it shouldn't be a day any different than the others. There are some folks I really admire who always think of special ways to make others feel appreciated or loved at any given time, basically being their "guardian angel/secret santa", but at any time throughout the year. - Our Home has some folks like that, I really like them. ;)

So yes, I went to the market on Valentine's day, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. - Whistles and all the attention were normal, but I also got chocolate, drinks, etc. so that's good, right? I think our Home enjoyed Valentine's a lot - the kids and teens (and I guess grown-ups too) randomly took each other on as Valentine's (cute!) and did chocolaty and special things for each other. - It was so sweet really!

I like my Home...

Our Happy Home!

I got Home and found this fun project my Home did during the Feast. - I'm not sure the resolution is that good, so you might not really see what it is unless you click on it and enlarge, but for what its worth, I think they really caught a lot of fun characteristics.

See if you can find me - but be not deceived, there are many curly-haired ones in this Home. :D

Oh, and Alvi is the artist - having used photos of each of us, of course. - Such talent. ;)

Home at last!

I'm home - again! :D

I've been gone for 3 weeks, believe it or not, and though my time away was great it is so nice to be back in my room! - Honestly! I'm going to sleep in my nice big bed tonight, and maybe, just maybe, get back into the routine of life at home. - Just in time for more travels perhaps! No, none are planned (at least till the end of March), but either way, I don't mind. - I'm happy. ;)

I'm posting some pics of the last few weeks - I don't have much desire to rant about it, I might have more imagination to post pics from the Feast (as soon as I get some) but for now, enjoy these. Ciao for now! - And yes, there's no place like home.

Congratulations in order!!!

Its another baby-boom! - CRAZY! (But oh so sweet!) I've heard of 4 different couples who are expecting, and that's just in the last week (or 10 days)! That's SOOOOOO cool!

You all know who you are peoples, I'm so happy for you! - I'm sure they'll be adorable little ones, and you'll be (or continue as) good parents. I love you!

P.S. And to those who are hell-bent to tease me about it, no, its not contagious - it just happens! ;)

Hmmm...I wonder?

Hey, Brian, just saw this in a recent Reflection - A Positive Praise Post! Super cool! ;)

Not to be conceited, but is it at all linked to mine?

Feasting...

I'm off till Saturday for some"rest and relaxation". - And Feasting! I'm in Cuernavaca, at the SSU, so I'm sure it'll be great. - I'm going to try to stay away from my inbox and all that stuff as much as possible though, so I'll probably be silent again for a bit, but hey, that happens often, right? :D

I'll say "bye" for now, but sign off with some funnies someone sent me today. - I always appreciate a good laugh during coffee breaks (which I don't have - lol). Ciao for now! Have a great week!

FIVE BEST THINGS TO SAY IF YOU GET CAUGHT SLEEPING AT YOUR DESK:

5. "They told me at the Blood Bank this might happen."

4. "This is just a 15 minute power nap they raved about in the time management course you sent me."

3. "Whew! Guess I left the top off the Whiteout. You probably got here just in time."

2. "Did you ever notice sound coming out of these keyboards when you put your ear down real close?"

And the NUMBER ONE best thing to say if you get caught sleeping at your desk...

1. Raise your head slowly and say, "...in Jesus' name, Amen."

Sigh...

I happened to watch some of the "Band of Brothers" series, including the last one with the gorgeous Austrian scenery. - So breathtaking! It made me miss Europe so much, and eventually lead me to my folder with pics of bygone mountain climbing days - Sigh...so beautiful! - And so cool I can post these now. Fun! :)

There are many more but I can't upload them for some strange reason (blogger's not being nice to me), but maybe that's for the best. - Talk about nostalgia. - But so cool I got to experience it. TTL!

Got to play soccer again. - Fun, fun, fun!
