10 days with 10 things to praise!

The last 10 days have been “whoa” – to say the least. Sorry for leaving that Amazon pic up as the main post for so long, I’m not into myself that much! HA! – Its just been very busy! We just finished meetings at our place, and I’m only now finally managing to slow down and take a morning of conference and Word. – I didn’t realize how wiped I was till last night!

Seeing though that it’s been 10 days since I posted I thought I’d use it as an opportunity for praise time – update you all, and feel refreshed and inspired after too. (Who said updating your blog can’t be edifying? HA!)

1. I’ll start by praising the Lord for the fun Scorpio party we had over at the Mountain Home the other night. I always like parties, so I’ll start with a praise for that.

2. I’ll then go on to praise the Lord that though I got a black eye during one of the games (ahem! – Let’s just say a guy used his fist to punch the balloon and got my eye instead of the balloon) at least I have cover-up, and I was able to hide it quite well.

3. I also want to thank the Lord that though Chris had a foolish time teasing me about that black eye at the market (well, to a few contacts only) he came up with rather original excuses of how I got it, and he’s just such a cool guy to go to the market with, plus I’m so thankful the CTC let us accompany them, so it wasn’t that bad. Thank you!!!!

4. I’m thankful that though I had to sit on my ass for 2 days straight (with no exercise – which is VERY hard for me to survive without) I didn’t have to partake of the full 5 days of meetings. HA!

5. Another thing I get to be praiseful about is that today I will get to work out – so hip-hip-hurrah! I can hardly wait!

6. I’m very praiseful that though I currently have a stuffy head, runny nose, cough, and headache, it will come to pass and I’ll feel so good when I’m all better. :P

7. I’m also appreciative that though the last few days have been freezing (literally – there’s a freezing front that came over Mexico City) the Lord has giving me such a nice room with so many nice windows that let in the sunshine – as it warms up the room in the daytime. (And I have a nice heater for the cooooold nights.)

8. I’m also thankful that though I now have yet more work from the meetings we just had, I feel needed and trusted (whew), and I know it’ll lead me to depend on the Lord more for His grace and strength to get things done.

9. I’m also very praiseful for how though next week and the week after I’ll be holding the fort on my own (seeing as my fellow secretary and bosses are traveling) it might mean I can catch up with work. Yeigh!

10. And last but not least I’m super thankful for the way the Lord supplied a good donation to get more furniture, keep fixing up our house, and get my Christmas mailing sent off, through some contacts of mine, as well as my dear daddy who is now in Hungary visiting the nephews (well, his grandsons). – And on his way to Romania to spend the winter months with my bro. TYJ!

I’m sure I could go on and on, but I’ll stop for now and get back to my Word time. – I just thought to enjoy a different type of praise time activity. ;)

That was really up-lifting and inspiring Cel, thank you so much for sharing your Praise time with us. It's made me think differently too about many things, so you've changed a part of my world, GBY!
