So...
...I figured it was time to brighten things up a bit.
I also wanted to clarify that I was loving and claiming that song for others too - not just myself! ;) I posted the line "You never said it would be easy - You only said I'd never go alone" on my skype and found it interesting to receive so many comments in reply to it. Gotta love though how the Lord uses a random song on someone else's playlist to speak to you and give you that special thought that helps you through whatever you're going through at the time. Definitely gave me that feeling that the Lord was right there watching me, knew my thoughts and trials, and figured if I didn't stop to listen to Him, He'd still get something through to me. - I just love Him for that!
Oh, and I found out that the singer, Ginny Owens, has actually been blind since she was 2. - That makes it even more touching, knowing she's definitely gone through her fires/valleys, etc. I have a live version of her singing it, and it's sung with such feeling (that's probably what got my attention at first) so yes, all that to say, glad it touched others.
Seeing however that I'm generally a cheerful person, and bounce back quick (TYJ!) I'm now moving on to Christmas thoughts! - I'm TOTALLY jazzed that it's Christmas! :D This is the first Christmas of the Offensive, and for some reason I'm sure it's going to be neat and exciting - however little I might be able to contribute towards it. Actually, I was all prepared for a...well, for a different type of Christmas and New Year's. - But YAY, I'll be here, and that makes me happy! It's going to be fun...I'll keep you updated. ;)
And on a totally different topic (just keeping in line with the random thoughts) here's what I think is a nice pic I recently found of Linda and I at John and Mya's wedding. (We're both wearing heels though I guess hers were taller than mine - we're actually the same height...) - Miss you guys (& praying for you)!
