Peschiera del Garda
Luca, have no fear - the next post (unless something else comes up in between) will be about Gabe. ;)
This one though is about our afternoon in Peschiera del Garda! I had totally forgotten about this place, and was reminded of it only due to some disgruntled Irish tourist who was trying to figure out why the conducter had fined him for not validating his ticket, but his English was unintelligible to the Italian information clerk (who actually spoke English - ha), so I helped translate. :D
We caught the train and found ourselves roaming around, taking some shots like typical tourists, when Jamie had this wonderful idea to see if we could get on a boat, as, of course, we'd see a lot more and have more of a feel for it. Right? At that very moment a boat was passing not too far and we noticed it only had one guy in it, so she started waving at him trying to motion for him to come, and luckily for us, he started coming our way to get a better look. (Turns out he thought she was just waving as she was posing for the camera, but when he saw two girls he thought to come for a better look, only to realize we were actually calling at him to come talk to us. - Ha!)
We asked him if he'd give us a ride, and sure enough he was more than happy to accommodate that request, and seeing as he was from that town, owned a Hotel and Restaurant, he not only gave us a guided tour with details of history and all, but we even got a nice ice-cream after. - How awesome is that? That was just the cherry on top!
We took tons of pics to where I can't upload them all, but here are some...excuse our huge smiles, we just really enjoyed ourselves.

Oh for the days in Peschiera with Gabe. I tell you, if you dress like a clown you will get everything for free in that town, from lunch to coffees and ice-creams to drinks. :)

Why are there no notes about the tiny blue swimsuit?
Lol - that's probably because Jamie's the one that was so into those swimsuits.
As for me, I just learned to block them out, when necessary...get the good and eschew the "evil". :D
