Beach, wind, lifeguards, and hot men! ;)
So here we go with pics of day two. It was comprised of sleeping in and making our way to the Havana beach. Turns out it was super windy, but boy were the waves fun. :D We went for a long walk on the beach, took lots of pics, and yes, I think the lifeguard liked me. Heh!
Oh, but I even met a hunky black man. Peoples!!! - Cuban men are quite good looking! - I was pleasantly surprized. Of course the guy I set my eyes on had to be a "bad boy" - oh man! He was a DJ (amongst other things - like a Spanish professor, he also offered to give me Spanish classes - snicker...is that what they're called now?) of a club that whenever we mentioned the name of it, everyone would give us this "oh no, don't go there - that's not a good place" look and comment. LOL! I chuckled each time they'd say that, I totally expected it. - Oh well! Anyways, all is well, I couldn't have him anyways - I just have to claim him for future purposes. :P
That night they had quite the fire works display as it was the anniversary of when Castro marched into Havana. - Rather neat. (Though we knew that was just their way of celebrating our being there. Snicker!)
Right, check out the pic of the chicken truck too - it's scary, but true - they don't have refrigerated trucks, so that's what they transported the chicken in. We noticed all meat places have this huge sign that tells you that meat isn't good 72 hours later. - That's counting from when though? HELP!

Fab photos Cel, you obviously had a super time. Thank you so much for sharing them! After those girlie beach shots my blood pressure has just shot thru the ceiling!
