Yes, I still live. - Barely, but I live!
Since my last post I got back home, had yet another Christmas meal with my home here (I got to cook Lasagna and make Tiramisu al Limoncello as part of our lavish Christmas dinner), I even beat 6 of our guys at leg wrestling (right, I am a strong and hefty lady, but it's all in the trick I learned from dear Bina), and had MAJOR neck and back aches for 2 days after. (DUH!) - The laughs were good though, and, I must admit, I felt powerful! :D
And now it's 2008!!! Yes, it is! I'm excited, are you?! 2007 was awesome in so many ways, I'm sure 2008 will be all the better! - Don't you think? Every year gets better! I don't know what it is about a New Year - it invigorates me.
So far I hear that people welcomed 2008 with a blast, and so did we. - Oh yes! I actually had a great time, for the time it lasted. Gotta figure out what it is that keeps doing this to me, but I got sick again, shortly after midnight (sniff), and though I was tipsy (fine, I admit it) there's no way I drank enough to get that sick. (Think fever for that night, as well as being out the rest of the next day and part of the 2nd day!) Oh well, I'm one of those that doesn't wait for any "alcohol feeling" to kick in before I have fun, so I danced around a ton, I even won a contest (well, I got another lovely dame nekkid - quite the gorgeous site too - so that made me win - oh yes, brownie points for Cel with the boys) and I had a good time, so no regrets. ;)
It's been a busy year though - VERY BUSY - so that kind of makes me wonder how much busier 2008 will be. I can't say I know what was the best part of 2007, but if 2008 is anywhere near as adventurous as 2007, well, I'm in. (Do I have a choice?)
Bring it on! - And oh, by the way, I'll probably be off line from the 7th till the 14th of January, but I shall post pics of where I get to take my vacation when I get back. (Gotta love being Italian and not just American!)
I shall now close with this great pic of myself with some of the August XD guys at the closing party. - It was a good night, and seeing as I have no pics of New Year's, well, this will do. I'm sure I was smiling that big, if not bigger, at the New Year's.
2008 - here we come!

Maybe it's just the excitement and dancing that makes you sick. Or The Lord telling you to slow down a bit.
Anyhows, glad you all had a good time.
Me? I had a mug of tea and an early night, caught 'flu again, same as last year!

I don't think it's the dancing - it had better not be. :P Someone commented that perhaps it's the alcohol that I've gained an allergic reaction to - which is what I was thinking too seeing as I have the same reaction to fish, eggs, decaf, lamb, etc. so that might be it. - I guess I'll try to be good and avoid Vodka...who knows! Anyways, it was fun and I enjoyed it. Sorry you were down with the flu again, Pete, but I hope your year is great!
And XD stands for "Xtreme Disciple". :)
