Memories - and prayer needed!

Last night we had a prayer meeting asking the Lord to supply $10,000 within 2 weeks. - That would cover our December and January budget, and seeing as we're not a witnessing Home (though we are working on getting into the hang of it) this is no small request. - But hey, we have the greatest and richest Boss in the Universe - what's $10,000 to Him? Right?!

Going along with the prayer drive from this month we're making our request an order really, after all, the Lord has promised to supply, so I'm excited to see what the Lord has in store. - And I figured I would post about it so that when the miracle comes through, I can share the joy with all of you too - and show once again how spoiled we really are.

Speaking of spoiled, it brought me down memory lane as I recall last year, right around this time, the Lord showed me to visit my grandma, and give the Lord the gift of "sacrifice". I quote "It's cheerfully visiting an old or boring relative and making them feel that you're having a great time." My grandma wasn't boring, and it wasn't a painfully boring situation, but it did mean Christmas in a retirement Home, and a very calm time, opposed to the lively Christmases we have here. ;) I'm so thankful I did that though as now that my grandma's gone to be with the Lord, I know it was His perfect timing for me to spend that week with her. You might recall though that I needed $350 to get the ticket (though more like $500 by the time I bought the ticket) and what do you know, just two days later I was boasting of the Lord's supply.

So I'm doing that again - I'm letting it be known what our need is, I (we) have let the Lord know, and I know He's going to do it. - And hey, I woke up this morning to find that 1% of that was in my bank account (totally unexpected source), so I'm inspired. - It's just 1% of things to come. :D

Pray with me? Thanks!

Praying for your need. After He's supplied you could you ask Him to help us with our mortgage re-payments please, as what with the soaring cost of fuel and food, my fixed salary struggles.
