Locked away!

I've been trying to find a way to present this special moment of my day, but I honestly can't make up my mind which one is best. - So I'll just come out with it! I was locked up!!! - LITERALLY! :D

You see, I'm helping take notes for some meetings and we're staying at a little flat close to the main house. - We have to walk to the main house for lunch and meals. Come the end of the morning meeting we're heading out to lunch, so I run to the bathroom before we leave, only to come out and find that not only has everyone left without me, but they've also locked me in the appartment. :D - And guess what? It's the type that you can't open without the key. (Which they have with them!)

Thankfully one of them left their cell phone here (mine doesn't have credit) so I use it to call the one who I know has his cell phone with him. Turns out he looks at it ringing and tells the other guy that "hey, you're calling me". However the guy who's phone I'm using is like "that's odd, no way, I can't be, I left my phone at the apartment". - So yes, you guessed it, he didn't pick up the call.

I then try skyping everyone who is at the other house asking them to please let them know I'm still here. - But nope, no one's at their computers.

By this point I'm laughing, a lot! (TG for a good sense of humor!) Thankfully I have info, and dig up the phone number of the house, when someone picks up, and I say "hi, this is Cel" - the girl on the other side goes "oh, hi Cel - what's up?" and I'm like "well, let's just say that I'm locked in the appartment, and I have a feeling my bosses have no idea and totally forgot me, but I'd really like to get out". I hear this yelp on the other side of the phone "Oh my God! You locked Cel in the appartment?!" followed by a string of "oh dear, oh nooo....!!!" and a few minutes later one of them had ran back as fast as they could to get me. :D

They felt so bad, it was cute. - And I'm sure they won't forget me again, but it was funny, very funny - I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes. Talk about making sure your secretary gets her work done - not only do you ensure she has her hours, but that she also stays there over-time. - Ah yes, this will be a memory for sure.

A secretary's job is never done...

And you wouldn't dream of storing it away and using it against anyone would you!

Poor girl! I wonder if The Lord had a reason for allowing them to do that to you? He usually has an ulterior motive.
