I'm still alive!

Sorry for the silence - well, not too sorry. It's been busy!

I've been doing all the usual though (just in case anyone was worried I skipped a beat perhaps) so you haven't missed much.

You did miss the rather loud (and drawn out) saga of dinner dishes last night though. We had spaghetti ragu'...which was delicious, but man, doing dishes for 100 people. YIKES!!! At least our boys were in a good mood.

Between teasing poor Emmi (I forget what prehistoric animal they were referring her "stop it" squaks to - but it seems they wanted to get Kent Hovind to add another class to his DVD series), singing at the top of their lungs (ummm...yeah, they do that a lot), having to show Andy who the boss was (yes, I almost thought he'd call my bluff when I started dancing around him pretending I was Mowgli, telling him "it wasn't the size of the dog in the fight") accusing me of dangerously "throwing cups at them" (hey, you should have heard their singing - you would have done it too), I almost got a stomach ache from laughing so much. :)

They're cool though - and we managed to get off dishes (which started at like 8:00) just in time for our Home Council (starting at 9:15). I know, see? That's why I called it a saga. I don't want to ever hear anyone complaining of having to do dishes in Family Homes. They'd just need to come to our Home and they'll be sooooooo thankful to go back to theirs. Ha!

At least we have good cooks that make yummy food! Whew!
