I think I got it!
The reason for my not “being married”, that is.
Rather than clobbering people (sorry Luchi, was a good idea for a few seconds) I think I’ll show them this special little plant I got for my B-day this year. I love plants, they make any room come to life, and yes, I have some in my room too. For those of you who know me they know too that I regularly forget to water them. – OH NO! (I almost took a pic of one of my plants yesterday when it was oh so droopy – though thankfully I caught it in time and watered it so it’s alive again. Yeigh!)
It’s not because I don’t want to water them, or because I think they look good droopy, in fact, I love them ALIVE, and no, I’m not scared of “committing to water it daily”, but sometimes there are just millions of things going through my brains, I’m trying to get so many things accomplished, and yes, even dodging people asking me heaps of questions (some of which have nothing to do with me – HA! – That’s another dilemma actually, why do people seem to think I know everything to where they ask me the wildest questions that have nothing to do with my job?), so that poor little plant doesn’t have “first place” in my life.
Now how that fits into the “the right one hasn’t come yet”, I don’t know. Maybe some day a real hunky, and I mean hunky stud-muffin (yeah right) of a plant, of course, will come into my life which will change my wayward ways and make me want to forget about the many, many, many, many other things I’ve put as priority to where I’ll never, ever forget to water it. Hmmm…that would be interesting. Ha!
Seriously though, let’s hope that when and if that man (ooops…I mean plant) comes around I won’t forget to water him. :)

Well I have a cactus that died of neglect. It even was named Peyotito.
Now THAT is bad.
That IS bad Florecita,
and curly, look at you all metaphorical!
I like it.
I was reading your first post on this subject and some thoughts crossed my mind. First of all, I definitely don't think "looks" get people married (I mean, look at you, gorgeous). From what I've noticed, romance seems to come around when you least expect it. I believe it's possible to find the "right one" in middle age and it's never too late. Though some, the Lord seems to want to save just for Himself. And yet some are married for a time and then no longer married. I guess we'll never know the reasons for things until we get to Heaven. It's all a mind-bender for me.

I was going to write something, but I've decided not to.
Yes, Miss-B - good points! You reminded me of the "Single or Married - Mama's Love story" GN. I think I'll give them some homework too next time they ask and have them read that.
And knowing you Wake, it's probably good you didn't comment. -You just love teasing me, don't you? Snicker...
Just you wait...uno di questi giorni, mi'...! :)
