Two to go

We're in November! HELP! Did you realize that? Less than two months to go and it's 2008. Wow! I remember looking towards 2007 thinking it would be a cool year. Don't ask me why, perhaps it's because I figured it was the last year in my "20's" and was bound to be cool, or maybe it's just because I liked the number 7 in it. - I don't know, either way, time is flying, and I have NO idea where 2007 went. So much has happened this year. Right? My days and weeks have all been blending together really, even more so lately, though life at the CTC is anything but mundane. - It's very quiet, that's for sure (considering I'm comparing to, well, XD times), but yeah, different.
I've been keeping busy, as usual, don't let the latest post throw you off, if anything I'm proud of myself for taking a few minutes off work to rest my brains and let the foolish side of me come out. ;) Turns out we had pizza and beer that night, quite fun actually, chilling around the table, etc.
The bad part is that for some strange reason the next day I came down with a nasty tummy bug that seems to be going around. - And the oddest thing for me is that just a few days ago I was thinking of how I haven't been sick in a while, and even making a mental note of how the last time I thought that, I came down with a tummy bug. (And I even thanked the Lord that I live next door to a bathroom this time around.) Oh well, I guess it was time to ensure that I was detoxed a la natural. - Some people come to Mexico, get Montezuma's revenge, and get the immunity to whatever bugs go around here, but me? I guess I just don't! PTL!
On to other things though, I've been trying out my hand with keeping Justin and Linda's pet alive while they're on their visa trip. - Seeing as we're neighbors they asked me to take care of her, so yes, so far so good. Her name is Guenevere (though for some reason I keep wanting to call her Gwyneth) and if anyone knows me and pets they know that I'm REALLY being nice about this one. - So far she's alive. - That's pretty miraculous really! (And Justin and Linda, if you're reading this, I have NOT forgotten to feed her & give her milk/water at all. - She's actually VERY much alive.)
And yes, I can finally post some pics of my lovely room, please note the life of my plants, it means a lot to me. :)
I still need to think of something for that wall - its a bit bare, but yes, it's in the works.
Good ol' faithful desk has been through a lot, but yes, its here too. :)

Notice anything different in this latest picture? :D (Hint...there's a reflection!)

The Lord's been super good to me (He always is) and I not only have a nice room but it's a tad bit bigger than my last one, and, as I mentioned above, it's right by a bathroom too (so I don't have to run across the house to get to one), and to add to it, the Lord supplied a nice bed and cupboard, seeing as I left my other one at the other home so they could use it, rather than carrying it all out here.
So yes, life is good, and God is fair. ;) - He definitely doesn't take something away without giving you something better. - The thing that freaks me out a bit is that usually, when my room gets set up, its time to move again...oh well, no worries there, so far He's proven that He's got me in His arms, so I'll just enjoy the ride and ensure I have tons of fun with it.
