Breaking the silence!

There's so much going on, but I'm really not the type of person to talk to my blog, much less "vent" to it - which means its the first thing I forget about when it comes to day to day life and the survival of such. Unless there's some fun thing that went on, I keep my thoughts to myself, and my PnP files. ;) I've just been busy with the usual workload and some. I actually had a bit of a discouraging week feeling I wasn't getting anywhere. - Has that ever happened to you? You never seem to catch up (though I should know better - and that's that I never will catch up), feelings of guilt set in, discouragement, etc. - Yikes!
I just love my early morning wake ups though. Creeping through the house to a nice hot shower to wake me up, enjoying sipping a hot cup of coffee, and sitting back and reading, getting PnP time, etc. and even watching the sun rise. I tried to catch a super cool sun-rise the other morning on camera but it didn't quite come out to do the subject justice.

Turns out the view from my room has the mountains off in the distance (after all Mexico City is built ON a mountain - well, the lake in the mountains), they were snow-capped the other day actually, which was a rather new sight for me. - I didn't know it snowed here in Mexico, other than on rare occasions.
The Lord's been good to me though - very good! The last couple rest days I went out with lovely friends and had a great time. Last week I spent that day with Heidi, who's leaving us (boo-hoo, I finally move closer and she leaves), we had a delicious BBQ over at MexCity Home as a goodbye (such good stuff Sammy!), I don't have pics though, but if I get some I'll post. And this week I got to spend it with Genai - and Adolfo! We went out to this rustic Mexican restaurant, had delicious food, enjoyed the entertainment, and yes, even the special little Mariachi skeletons on display. - Quite impressive, I must say, how the Mexicans take the week of the dead as such a big occasion. The US has Halloween but that's just one day, here they have a week where they honor those who died of every type of death possible - quite original.
At any rate, I leave you with some pics.
I'm off for a week for some meetings, so if I'm silent, well, you'll know why. - I'll be in touch though. ;)

I'm sorry you had discouragement etc last week with negative feelings. We all get those from time to time when the Enemy tries to attack us, especially me. That is the time to turn back to Jesus and ask Him to help you, the return to His fold is always comforting. That is the time to read Psalm 23, "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want'.
My favourite is verse 4: " Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me ..........". That's when I know I've come home.
