Funny things do happen!
I'm not sure if this is going to be flattering to my intelligence or not, but I have to say I had a laugh at myself, so why not share it with others. :D
I had to drive to one of the Homes today (yes, I'm a driver - heh), so we go to tank up with gas and the dear little gas-station man (not sure what to call him) does his usual cleaning of the wind-shield while we're tanking up. I notice however that his cleaning of the windshield is "different" in some way, though I really can't put a finger on what it is. - I figure it must just be me, and off we go after getting our gas and all that fun stuff, including a nice clean windshield.
The time at the Home went well, we're heading Home, and great - it starts raining. Nothing drastic (definitely not your typical rainy season - a.k.a. torrential downfalls), but enough to where I need to turn the windshield wipers on. I turn the knob....hmmm...nothing? I turn it another knob up....still nothing? I decide to try the blinkers just in case perhaps something wrong with the actual system, those work (well, one of them, but I always knew the other one was broken)...and then it hits me!!!!! There are no wind-shield wipers!
DUH!!!
Turns out they were snapped off while "someone" (names with-held to save my neck) was using the van to move a queen-sized mattress from one side of our property to the other. Heh!
At any rate, thankfully we made it back safely, but how often do you lose your windshield wipers and end up having it rain (out of season)? I tell you, its a conspiracy!

And you deny your blondness. Bah Humbug.
Denying my blondeness? No! Never! I just know I can't boast of the full trademark. :D
As you say, I'm the type with the two brains cells instead of one. ;)
You forgot to ask Him to stop the rain! It always works for me.
Pete.
