Back in MEX!
Actually, I've been back in Mexico since Monday evening...
I had a fun time in the US, visa trip is over, as is wanna-be vacation, and though I didn't miss home too much, I'm not complaning. I did have to do major cleaning to my room upon returning, and I'm still unpacking and in the process of "getting back into routines of life", but I have the faith that this room can look nicer.
I still need to get those holes filled in and the wall painted!!!
I decided to "spread the word" that whoever is meant to be my guardian angel for Christmas doesn't need to buy me a present. I just want it to be a guy (gna-ha) so they can actually fill in the holes in my walls and paint it. - That's not asking too much, is it? Sniff... Wish me luck!
Oh, and the travel back, in case anyone was wondering, was fine. I ended up going to the wrong Immigrations line (though here in Mex it seems most people don't know the right way either way, so they assume someone else does, or you perhaps, and let you stand in that line - heh) but I did end up having a cute Mexican Immigrations guard check me that had the exact same B-day (day/month/year) as me. It was so cool - I think that's the first person that I've met (though I didn't find out the hour - I wonder which of us was older). Her name was Valeria, but she still didn't give me a 6 month visa. Sniff... - Even though I tried to get it. (I think she was new at her job and insecure, not wanting to get in trouble. Oh boohoo!)
I got all my luggage in, and now the only distress I'm up against is my little jewelry/earing/necklace kit missing. I don't know where I put it and have a feeling it fell out of my stuff either at the Home I was visiting in SoCal or at the MexCity Home here in Mexico City, but please pray it's found and that I can get it back ASAP. I have so many sentimental things in there that I'd be soooo sad were I to lose it. - I actually went through a majorly discouraged state yesterday when I couldn't find it. Thankfully I'm okay now, but again, please pray I find it.
BTW, don't tease me about this, we all have our special little quirks...and organization and knowing where everything is, having it on hand, is mine. Oh well!
Its prayer day today so I'm out of here...just wanted to make my presence back in Mex known. :)
Ciao!
