Been away, but I'm back now!

I love spur of the moment decisions. - I should do those more often. :)

I ended up tagging along with Amber last Sunday when she headed back to her Home in Cuernavaca. - And spent a couple days at the SSU for some rest, relaxation, and fun! Yeigh! (And thanks again to the SSU folks for letting me stay - such a fun bunch.)

I got to enjoy more of Amber's entertaining outbursts of fun (you should see her stroll through our CTC yard with a pitcher on her head singing "I must go and fetch some water..." - heh), Steve's shameless flirting, and everyone's super cool company in general. Also spent a couple days with Niki, which was like, yeah, it had been such a loooong time. - We pulled out some pics (no, we didn't have them, Steve & Amber did), and almost died...obviously we survived, but I think if Niki and I weren't guests in the house of other people, we would have joined forces to find a way to kidnap those pics. Scary!

I think some of the funnest moments though were sitting around in the kitchen or living room discussing Sims' butt-tickler (a.k.a. goatee - no, I don't think he's that kinky) while Simone was writhing in disgust (covering her eyes, though still wanting to feel it - ha!). - Funny how you can take something as innocent as a goatee and have so many laughs from it.

I'm Home now though - after a (thankfully) not too eventful bus/metro/bus ride Home. (Yes, I took two buses.) I was alone and a bit worried as I always seem to attract some sort of strangeness, but at least I made it safely and soundly. TTL! The highlight was the tall/dark/handsome/yummy Israeli guy who came to help me get away from some weirdo who was trying to ask me where I was from while he tried to kiss me on the mouth. - Don't ask me how that goes together. Anyways - a surfer, studying bio-chemistry...needless to say he was scrumptious. Sigh!

I love it when knights in shining armor are handsome...that was always my biggest trial about fairy-tales, knowing that knights were short and stubby. (Hence the reason I didn't care to hope for one to sweep me off my feet - he'd probably end up having to use a stool, or two, to stand on to even just kiss me, let alone sweep me off my feet. - So yes, that's just wrong.) I'm serious, you should see some of those castles they have in countries like Belgium and Germany - those armors are inzy. HA! :)

But yes, having a hot guy come in and call me "honey" while he asks me the time and how much longer it'll take before "we" get to the airport, while he pretends like he's ready to clobber the weirdo made me feel all....special. ;)

Makes me think I should make these sort of trips more often.

P.S. Niki left back to Japan today. Miss you girl! (So glad I got to at least say bye before driving out.)
